He mutters to himself, " I tell you what, no man gonna come into my house and put a darn gun to my head, and if he does, he gonna get one heck of a fight." He continues on his angry rant until at last, he goes to his fridge to get a soda. He takes his soda, then he pulls a cigar, and he, drinks, and smokes on his patio. He finishes his soda, and then he smokes another cigar. He checks the time and sees it is 8:30 PM, so he steps off his porch and, he goes back to his bedroom. Henry lies down on his bed, and he struggles to fall asleep. He rolls over, and he closes his eyes to no avail. 3:00 AM Henry has yet to fall asleep he is in a bitter mood. It's morning Henry didn't get any sleep, so he sets off to work in a bitter rage; he walks down the street and sees the mailman running from a white pit bull.
Henry is displeased by this sight and tells the mailman to stop being a coward and fight the pit bull. Henry continues walking until suddenly, he falls into a hole on the sidewalk. He lands at the bottom of the hole then to his dismay, a bulldozer fills the hole, with cement. Henry panics, and says, " Oh Christ how am I going to get out of here? if I don't get out of here a dead man." Henry realizes he has his cellphone but, chooses not to make a phone call because he refuses to go against his beliefs he would rather die a man than beg for help. Two days later a woman walks down a sidewalk she sees flies surrounding the sidewalk a nd she smells a foul odor then, two hours later, the police find the decaying body of Henry Jay Parker a foolish man who was blinded by his own pride.
