"Off there to the right – somewhere – is a large island," said Whitney. "It's rather a mystery–"
"What island is it?" Rainsford asked.
"The old charts call it 'Ship-Trap Island,'" Whitney replied. "A suggestive name, isn't it? Sailors have a curious dread of the place. I don't know why. Some superstition–"
"Can't see it," remarked Rainsford, trying to peer through the dank tropical night that was palpable as it pressed its thick warm blackness in upon the yacht.
"You've good eyes," said Whitney, with a laugh, "and I've seen you pick off a moose moving in the brown fall bush at four hundred yards, but even you can't see four miles or so through a moonless Caribbean night."

When we only see one aspect of their personality, a character is considered to be
A. Flat
B.round
C.static
Answer:
The character should be flat.
Explanation:
Explanation:Thats hard because blaintly.. its none of them. A round character is a character that change a lot during the story and may suprise the reader by completely changing who they are while flat characters are basically uncomplicated and barely change through the book/poem. A dynamic character is basically the same as a round character, they usually change perspective or how they feel about something by the end of the poem/book. A static character is also like a flat character, they don't undergo any significant change in the story. If I had to guess it would be C. dynamic character. I would choose this because sometimes you think you might know this dynamic character and their traits but they will completely suprise you and change.

In the Disney's film show, "101 Dalmatians", Cruella, was the antagonist of the show. Cruella had black and white hair, which as a young child was made fun of for. Cruella wore animal fur coats, and would often murder animals just for them. When she found out about Dalmatians, she thought to herself, "That she must have this print!". Cruella then proceeded to dognap dozens and dozens of puppies from all around, including 2 special dogs puppies.
First off, Cruella was seen throughout the beginning of the film show rarely, up until she discovered the puppies, in which she decided looked beautiful. Cruella smoked heavily throughout the show, through a pipe smoker. Cruella knew the owners of the puppies well, where they lived, the dogs they had, and etc. Though the owners tried to hide the puppies, she still dognapped them.
Then, Cruella took the stolen puppies to what seemed to be an abounded warehouse of some sort. But the parents of their puppies were not having this, while the Owners were looking, and seeking help, the parents were finding their puppies. The puppies, being smart, led eachother away from Cruella. The police were on the lookout for both Cruella, and her 2 henchmen.
Later on, the puppies were found, and Cruella and her henchman, cold, and "ugly", were caught. They were arrested for stealing the animals, and for animal cruelty. The puppies were saved, and given back to the original owner, and then many other puppies were also saved, and then given new homes.
In conclusion, Cruella was a mad person, who often harmed animals for her own benefit, once given the chance, she dognapped puppies to make a coat out of them. But, she failed, her henchmen were frozen, with the help of adult dogs, the puppies were saved, and returned. Then Cruella was sent away with her henchmen.

The poet would most likely use long lines in order to:
A.give the poem a fast pace
B.give the poem a slower pace
C.create a peaceful tone
D.create an energetic tone
The poet would most likely use long lines in order to give the poem a fast pace.
What is pacing?Pacing is the reader's perception of how quickly or slowly the tale is progressing.
Line length is frequently predetermined for you when composing a poem in a more conventional style, "particularly one with syllabic" constraints.
Longer lines are typically read much more quickly than shorter ones. Short lines have the tendency to slow down a reader's eye, especially when they are spaced wider apart on the page.
Long lines in a poem can sometimes provide the impression of breathlessness or urgency, especially if punctuation is left out giving a poem fast pace.
Thus, the correct option is A.

In The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock T.S Eliot deliberately uses old-fashioned poetic language true or false
In The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock T.S Eliot deliberately uses old-fashioned poetic language True.
One of the poem's central themes is social anxiety and how it influences Prufrock's capability to interact with those around him. This line, just like the others inside the tea scene, is indicative of the soreness Prufrock feels in social situations and his notion that he needs to place on a "face" or mask with the intention to be healthy.
Prufrock's ideal society can not be balanced with the society he's dwelling in. He become constrained with the aid of the real world and had no manner to alternate and flee. therefore, it became the catch-22 situation that made him couldn't stay in harmony with the real world and then caused him spiritually paralyzed and alienated.
Prufrock changed compared to John the Baptist, Lazarus, and Hamlet. those allusions show Prufrock's excessive self-depreciation. the following traces “though I have seen my head (grown slightly bald) added in upon a platter, / I am no prophet — and here's no extraordinary remember;” alludes to the Bible.
