For a student that is trying to understand what freedom means, I would tell the student that freedom is the right that they have to talk the way that they want, to do the things they want to do and to have the ability of expressing themselves as long as they do not act in ways that the laws of the land frown against.

What is freedom?

This is the term that is used to stand for liberty. The constitution of the United States is very clear on what has to be established as the freedom of the people in the nation. They have the freedom to speak their minds, to assemble, to be religious and also to assemble.

The rights of the people was given expressly so that the government would not at any time carry out actions that are intended to take away that this basic right of the people and establish a dictatorship in the nation.
